We expected basic accommodation, but the spacious room with a comfortable bed and a lovely view of the mountains exceeded our initial thoughts. The hotel features a charming building and a vast garden where my kids enjoyed exploring. What truly stood out was how welcoming the hosts were. When our car broke down, the owner kindly picked us up from Potes and even arranged for lunch the next day. Their thoughtful hospitality made our stay more enjoyable. El Caserío is ideally located for families, being close to Mogrovejo and hiking routes, which made it convenient for us. My children particularly loved the breakfast served in the rustic tavern downstairs. We also liked the surrounding area, with its picturesque views and the quaint working town atmosphere.
